MRS. STERLING W. HUSTON(Esther Volonino)
WASHBURN -- Miss Esther Volonino, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Volonino, 194 Matilda Street, Rochester, N.Y., became the bride of Sterling W. Huston of Rochester, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter E. Huston of Perham, June 12, at Brighton Community Church, Rochester, N. Y.
The Rev. W, Millar Crawford officiated with the Rev. David M. Carlson, pastor of Glad Tidings Church, assisting.
The bride was given in marriage by her father and mother. She wore a floor length gown of silk linen train, with controlled bell skirt developing a tunic effect. Her veil was to a circular band of silk line to match her gown. She carried a white Bible covered with butterfly orchids with ivy.
Charles Sergisson, organist, accompanied Mrs. Margaret Smith, who was vocalist.
Mrs. Theodore B. Heitz, Rochester, N.Y., sister of the bride was matron of honor. She was attired in a full length, aqua linen gown which featured contrasting turquoise bow at the waistline and a tourcoise band at the hem. She wore a large turquoise linen bow on her hair and carried white and pink orchids.
Other attendants were Miss Trudy Stevenson, Rochester; and Mrs. Fred Thomas of Penfield, N.Y. Junior bridesmaid was Miss Nadine Heitz. Rochester, niece of the bride.
They wore gowns, headpieces and carried flowers similar to the matron of honor's.
Best man was Russell Huston Perham. Ushers were Arman Avedisian, Rochester; David Hicks, North Chili, N.Y.; Theodore Juroe, Rochester; Dennis Lundren, Rochester; Keith Magill, North Chili, N. Y., and Fred Thomas of Pe____d, N.Y.
The bride is employed as a secretary to the associate dean, University of Rochester, College of Arts and Science.
The bridegroom is a graduate of the University of Maine and is executive director of Rochester Youth for Christ.
The couple left on a trip to Tupper Lake, N. Y., for one week and are now visiting in Perham. They will be at home in Rochester. N.Y., after July 5.
