Mrs. Kenneth Harris was organist, and accompanied vocalist, Billy Boulier and Miss Penny Burden.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a ballerina length gown of white nylon and lace over taffeta trimmed with sequins. She carried a bouquet of white roses attached to a white Bible with white streamers.
Miss Mora W. Nickerson, maid of honor, wore a ballerina length gown of pink net and lace and carried pink spring flowers.
Bridesmaids were Miss Prudence Nickerson and Miss Sharon A. Parker. Miss Rachel Ann Nickerson was junior bridesmaid. They wore blue gowns similar to the maid of honor and carried spring flowers.
The best man was Wayne Humphrey. Ushers were Paul Parker of Caribou, Robert Cameron Jr., and Harris Nickerson
William Churchill III, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Churchill Jr., was ring bearer and Miss Karen Sperrey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald W. Sperrey was flower girl. She wore a dress of pink taffeta.
A reception followed the ceremony in the church dining room. The cake was served by Mrs. Kay Adams assisted by Miss Faith Parker and Miss Nancy Clayton. The bridal couple are graduates of Washburn High School. The bride is employed at Washburn Trust Company and the bridegroom is employed at Maine Potato Growers, Presque Isle. They will reside in Washburn.
