MRS. ROBERT EDWARD WOOD(Sandra Corey)
Miss Sandra Corey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Whitefield Corey of Crouseville, became the bride of Robert Edward Wood, son of Mrs. Eva Wood of West Chapman, Saturday at the Advent Christian Church of Crouseville.
The Rev. Melvin White officiated. Denny Clark of Crouseville was soloist and Mrs. Melvin White was organist.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length gown of organza and chantilly lace. Her elbow-length veil fell from a cap of lillies trimmed with pearls. She carried a sweetheart roses and ivy.
Mrs. Ronnie Combs of Columbus, Ohio, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Miss Bonnie Maynard of Washburn and Miss Pamela Wood, of West Chapman, sister of the groom, were bridesmaid`s. Miss Margo Combs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Combs of Columbus, Ohio, was flower girl.
Best man was Arthur Wood of West Chapman, brother of the groom. Steven Crouse of Crouseville and Jerry Gamflin of Gardiner were ushers. Ring bearer was Jeffery Corey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Corey of Folsom, Tenn.
Following the wedding a reception was held at the Mission Hall in Crouseville. Assisting were Mrs. Herman McHatten, Mrs. Vella Condon, Chester Graves, Mrs. Brenda Rogerson, Mrs. Joy Corey, Miss Carolyn Bouchey, Miss Amelia Doak, Mrs. Dora Longley, and Mrs, Dona Wood.
The bride is a graduate of Washburn high school class of 66.
The groom is a graduate of Presque Isle High School class of 64 and is employed by T. W. Dicks of Gardiner.
Following a wedding trip to Prince Edward Island, the couple will reside at Gardiner.
Miss Sandra Corey and Mr. Robert Wood were honored guests at a bridal dinner in the evening given by Mrs. Avis Dudley at her home in Mapleton.
