SARAH UMPHREY MARRIES IN FLORIDA RITE

PENSACOLA, Fla.--At Holy Trinity Chapel at the Naval Air Station, Pensacola, Fla., Miss Sarah Elgie Umphrey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Crouse Umphrey of Washburn, Maine, was married Aug. 27 to Ensign Clinton Jefferson Farmer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jefferson Farmer of Woodland.

The military ceremony was performed by Commander Leroy Bevan, Navy chaplain. Mrs. Donald E. Spiller, was matron of honor, and Donald E. Spiller was best man. Ensign John T. Frederiksen acted as usher. Swordsmen for Ensign Farmer were Ensign Thomas J. Smisek, Steven Rohr Kemper, David A. Patch and John T. Fredericksen.

The bride, a former student at Abbot Academy, Andover Mass., was graduated in June by The Hannah More Academy, Reistertown, Md. Her husband is an alumnus of Woodland High School, and attended Maine Central Institute, Pittsfield, Maine, and was graduated by the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, Id., in June.

Ensign and Mrs. Farmer are residing at Pensacola Fla., where he is receiving flight training.
