Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length White lace gown with a sabrina neckline trimmed with sequins, long pointed sleeves and a watteau train of lace. Her elbow-length veil from Holland was attached to a pearl and crystal headpiece. She carried a cascade bouquet of white and red rosebuds.
Miss Penny Maynard was maid of honor. She wore a floor-length gown of turquoise brocade and wore a matching veil. She carried a bouquet of yellow mums.
Marvin McBreairty of Perham was best man. Ushers were Timothy Humphrey and Larry Theriault of Washburn.
A reception followed the ceremony at the church. Assisting were Mrs. Margaret Delong, Miss Linda Delong, Mrs. Linnea Helstrom, Mrs. Wanda Beaver, Mrs. Betty Dickinson, Sterling Helstrom, Paul Trombley, Miss Rena Carney, Miss Brenda Boyd, Miss Lea Carney and Jeannette Bryce.
Both are graduates of Washburn High School. The bride attended Northern Maine Vocational Institute in Presque Isle and is employed by Chester Kearney Accountants in P. I.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Hanson's Barber School, Lewiston and is employed at Presque Isle.
The couple will make their home at 5 Milliken St., Presque Isle.
