Mrs. Llewellyn Jones was organist and soloist was Waldron Babbidge.
The bride, given in marriage by her brother-in-law, James E. Humphrey, wore a floor-length gown of silk organza over taffeta. Her lace bodice had a scalloped neckline and long pointed sleeves. Tiers of alencon lace made up the bouffant skirt. Her three-tier Watteau Organza train, edged in alencon lace, was attached to the shoulders by two small lace bows. Her shoulder-length veil of bridal illusion was attached to a crown trimmed with seedless pearls, crystal and orange blossoms. She carried a white lace Bible centered with a cattleys orchid and surrounded by eucharis lilies and ivy.
Miss Janice Spooner of Auburn was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Miss Brenda Simoneau, Livermore Falls and Constance Bouffard, Rumford. Lynn Marie Thompson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ansel Thompson Jr., and Sharon Lynn daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Thompson, were flower girls.
The maid of honor wore a floor length pale pink crepe gown with deep pink lace bodice fashioned with an empire waist with a satin bow in back with a floor length lace panel floating from the shoulder. She carried a cymbidium orchid surrounded by aqua poms and ivy. The bridesmaids gowns were identical to the maid of honor's but aqua in color. They wore matching tulle headpieces with self fabric flowers trimmed with seed pearls. The bridesmaids carried cymbidium orchids surrounded by pink poms and ivy.
The flower girls wore pink linen dresses trimmed with white lace and headbands of pink sweetheart roses. They carried baskets of assorted petals.
The best man was Willard Sands of Washburn. Ushers were Patrick Roix, of Limestone and Jon Durepo of Fort Fairfield. Junior ushers were James Humphrey and Michael Thompson. Scott Corey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold E. Corey, was ring bearer. The bride is a graduate of Washburn High School and a 1966 gradate of Husson College, Bangor.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Washburn High School and the University of Maine. He is self employed at Caribou.
