MRS. CARL HERBERT GRANT

EAST CORINTH - Miss Linda Jean Broad, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell V. Broad, was married to Airman 3C. Carl Herbert Grant, son of Mrs. Kenneth D. Grant of Washburn and the late Mr. Grant.
Vows were spoken Oct. 8 in the Methodist Church of East Corinth. Officiant was the Rev. Sidney E. Buzzell.
Soloist was David Salley and organist, Mrs. Alberta Greatorex.
Given in marriage by her brother, Richard Board, the bride wore a gown of peau de soie and Chantilly lace, with chapel train overskirt. Her bouffant veil fell from a peau de soie cap of petals outlined in pearls.
Maid of honor was Miss Carol Broad. Miss Beth Elliott of East Corinth, and Miss Rita Rowe of Bangor were bridesmaids. They wore moss green brocade gowns with matching pillboxes and lace veils.
Best man was Paul Milfred Bouchey of Indian River City, Fla. Ushers were Wayne McClelland of St. Louis, Mo., and Paul Russell of Bangor.
Assisting at the reception in the church vestry were Doreen Broad, Kathy Bean, Darla Wiggin, Linda Bragdon, Marcia Vigue, Marilyn Grant, Becky Grant and Mrs. Lorna Snyder.
After Oct. 23, the couple will reside at Langley, AFB, Va.
The bride attended East Corinth Academy and Beal Business College. The groom graduated from Washburn High School in 1963 and from Husson College in 1966. He is an inventory management specialist with the Air Force.
