Miss Joanne Elizabeth McIsaac, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James McIsaac of Presque Isle, recently became the bride of Dale Wells Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Johnson of Penniac, N. B.
The ceremony was performed at the United Church of Canada, Marysville, N. B., by the pastor, the Rev. Dr. Norman J. Whitney. Mrs. Hugh Titus, church organist, played traditional music and accompanied Mr. Marvin Fleming, solist.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a winter white suit and a sequin and veil-trimmed headdress She was attended by her sister, Wanda McIsaac, attired in a pink suit and matching veil.
Best man was Lee Johnson, brother of the bridegroom. Gary Clark and Donal Harrison of Marysville acted as ushers, and Mike Fisher as photographer. [missing section] luncheon was served at Robert's Restaurant for the bridal party, parents and grandparents.
The bride attended school in Presque Isle, graduated from the High School Department of Bethany Bible College, Yarmouth, N. S., and was a student nurse in Fredericton at the time of her marriage.
Mr. Johnson attended schools in Fredericton, N. B, served five years in the Royal Canadian Air Force, and is a certified mechanic. He is presently employed at the Auto Repair Center, Fredericton.
The young couple are residing at 20 George Street; Marysville, N. B.
