Boulier-Grant Wedding Conducted At Washburn

WASHBURN -- In a candle-light ceremony, Miss Marilyn G. Grant, daughter of Mrs. Kenneth D. Grant and the late Kenneth Grant, became the bride of William G. Boulier, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Boulier, Aug. 12 [1967] at the Washburn Pentecostal Church.

The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Kenneth MacDonald. Organist was Mrs. Margaret Harris and soloist Miss Carla Kingsbury. The bridegroom sang following the traditional wedding march.

The bride, escorted to the altar by her brother, Carl H. Grant, wore a floor-length go of nylon laced organza taffeta with a chapel length watteau train. The empire laced bodice was fashioned a scalloped neckline and traditional long pointed sleeves. A narrow band of satin the empire waist. The watteau train was of nylon organza was flowed from the shoulders into a full chapel train. Her bouffant veil fell from a peau de soie cap of petals outlined in pearls. She carried a white Bible covered with a cascade of red roses, lily of the valley and ivy.

The maid of honor, Miss Nancy Lamontagne of Dover-Foxcroft, wore a floor-length gown of yellow brocade. She carried a single long stem red rose.

The bridesmaids were Miss Becky Grant, Mrs. Dauna McClelland, and Mrs. Linda Grant. They wore floor-length gowns of green brocade and carried single long stem red roses. Miss Darlene Saucier of Presque Isle was flower girl.

David Carrington of Westfield, Mass., was best man. Ushers were Leanard Baulier, Wayne McClelland and Carroll Bagley.

Phillip Pate was ring bearer.

The reception was held in the church vestry.

Following a wedding trip to the coast of Maine the couple will reside at Green Lane, Pa.
