Etta McCann, Joseph King Repeat Vows HOWLAND -- The wedding of Miss Etta McCann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman McCann of Water St., and Cpl. Joseph King, foster son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Hallowell of Perham, was solemnized at the Baptist Church Tuesday evening.
Cathedral baskets of white gladioli decorated the alter for the double-ring service performed by the Rev. Elliot Kerns, pastor of the Passadumkeag Baptist Church,
Mrs. May Larkin was organist.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a street length dress of white paisley chiffon over taffeta with a shoulder-length veil attached to a matching bow. Her wedding bouquet was of white mums, centered with orchids.
Mrs. Geneva Gillman of King of Prussia, Pa., was matron of honor. Her dress of pale blue crepe was fashioned after the bride's. She carried white mums and pink carnations.
Ray A. Shaul of Jamestown, N. Y., was best man and Howard Clements Jr. of Passadumlreag was usher.
A reception followed at the brides home. After a short wedding trip they will be at home at Camp Lejeune, N.C.
Mrs. King is a graduate of Penobscot Valley High School.
Mr. King graduated from Washburn High School and is a corporal in the Marine Corps, stationed at Camp Lejune, N.C.
