MRS. VICTOR DEEVES (Claudatte Dubay)

Miss Dubay, Mr. Deeves United At Nuptial Mass

VAN BUREN--Miss Claudette Dubay, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Claude Dubay, became the bride of Victor Deeves, son of Mrs. Merle Deeves of Washburn and the late Mr. Deeves, Sept. 2 [1967] at St. Bruno's Catholic Church. The Rev. Edgar Theriault officiated and celebrated the Nuptial Mass. Miss Sara Stewart was organist.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor length gown of peau de soie and alencon lace with scalloped bateau neckline and long tapered sleeves and chapel train. Her shoulder length veil of bridal illusion was caught to a crown of seed pearls and crystals. She carried a bouquet of red and white carnations.

Miss Gloria Jean Cote was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Nancy Black and Miss Cheryl Ames.

Miss Cote wore a floor-length gown of pink satin, with a white velvet crown and face veil. Mrs. Black wore a yellow gown with a yellow velvet crown, Miss Ames was attired in a floor-length gown of blue crepe with a velvet white crown. They carried bouquets to complemented their gowns.

The flower girl was Patty Ann Dubay. Her gown was of silk topped with nylon net.

The best man was Paul Clayton of Washburn. Seating the guests were Henry Dubay of New Britain, Conn., and Darrel Deeves of Washburn. The ring bearer was Gary Peterson.

A reception followed at the Knights of Columbus Hall here.

Assisting were Mrs. Jos. Madore and Mrs. Antoine Thibodeau.

Mrs. Deeves attended Sacred Heart High School and is employed at Potato Service, Inc., Presque Isle.

Mr. Deeves attended Washburn schools and served two years in the Army. He is now employed at Potato Service Inc., Presque Isle.

Mr. and Mrs. Deeves will be at home in Caribou.
