Chester Hersey Marries In California Ceremony

SEPULVEDA, Calif. -- Our Lady of Peace Church, here was the scene, Sept. 23 [1967], of the wedding of Miss Coleen Streff and Chester Hersey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Hersey of Presque Isle, Maine. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Gregor Streff of this town. Mr. Hersey has been residing at Northridge.

The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Pizzarno of the Catholic Church.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an A-line gown of white brocade with chapel train. A bow to match her dress held her veil of English tulle. She carried white roses with babies'-breath.

The couple was attended by Mrs. Julieane Reif and Gary Wallace. The matron of honor wore a gown of mint green linen and carried a basket of orange and yellow roses.

Other members of the wedding party were Miss Virginia Costa, bridesmaid, and Jerome Reif, usher.

The couple left on a wedding trip to Vancouver, B.C.

After Oct. 9 they will be at home at 18561 Prairie Ave., Northridge, Calif.

The bridegroom is an engineer for the Pacific Telephone Co., Van Nuys, Calif.
