Washburn Girl Weds Pennsylvania Man

Lorraine Marie Turner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Turner, became the bride of Michael Anthony McMullen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clair McMullen of Mundy's Corner, Pa., July 13 [1968] at the Church of Goshenville, West Chester, Pa., at 2 p.m.

The Rev. Joseph Kirkner performed the ceremony and Mrs. Ronald Parks was organist.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a full length empire gown of chantilly lace with white velvet bow joining at the front of the waist. Her shoulder length tier illusion veil fell from a headpiece of lace petals with pearls and sequins. She carried a cascade of pink miniature carnations.

The matron of honor, Mrs. Dale Turner, sister-in-law of the bride, wore a full length pale green gown. She carried a clutch of yellow miniature carnations.

Gary Yates of Dayton, Ohio was best man. The ushers were Clifford McMullen, brother of the groom, and Dale Turner of Washburn, brother of the bride.

A reception was held at the church. The members of the Women's Bible Fellowship were the assistants.

The bride is a graduate of Washburn High School and New Brunswick Bible Institute. The groom graduated from Evansburgh High School, Pa., and attended New Brunswick Bible Institute. He is employed by the Budd Instrument Co. Phoenix, Pa.

The couple will reside at 102 Washington Drive, Norristown, Pa.
