The Rev. Rellend P. Clark performed the ceremony. Mrs. Joy Buck was soloist and Mrs. Sue Sands was organist.
The bride. given in marriage by her brother William Maynard, wore an A-line, floor-length gown with train of lace covered satin. She carried a bouquet of sweetheart roses.
Matron of honor was Mrs. Linda Brown of Crouseville. Attendants were Miss Gloria Maynard, Miss Brenda Paradis and Miss Lisa Clayton, all of Washburn.
They wore yellow satin style gowns and each carried a long-stemmed yellow rose.
Flower girl was Miss Nancy Chasse of Portage and ring bearer was Mark Humphrey of Crouseville.
Best man was Gary Cleaves of Caribou. Ushers were Arnold Devoe of Caribou, Paul Brown of Crouseville and Peter Chasse of Portage.
The reception was held at the church vestry. Assisting were Colleen Meister, Kim Meister, Bonnie Maynard Barbara Maynard, Debbie Farley, Lynn Flewelling, Jane Howard and Marge Farley.
After a wedding trip, the couple will live at Main Street, Washburn.
The bride graduated in 1968 from Washburn District High School and attended Northern Maine Vocational-Technical Institute. She is employed as a secretary at Potato Service, Inc.
The groom graduated from Washburn High School and is employed at the Maine State Highway mechanical storage.
