Mrs. James Robert WhiteThe ceremony was performed by the bridegroom's father. Miss Carolyn Flewelling played the organ, and Miss Martha Bull was soloist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Her gown, made by her mother, was organza over peau de sois embroidered with Venise lace and seed pearls. She carried a colonial bouquet of pink sweetheart roses and white shasta daisies.
Miss Iris Woodman, her sister's maid of honor, and Amity Hotchkiss, flower girl, wore gowns of pale pink linen accented at the empire waistline with embroidered, lace-trimmed ribbon and hem length trains. They carried colonial bouquets. The other attendants were Miss Nancy Woodman, Miss Lanita White, Miss Joanne Ranney and Mrs. Betsy Emerson. They wore deep pink gowns identical in style to that worn by the maid of honor.
Paul While, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were Mark Woodman, Arthur White, Brian Carlton and Roger Crouse.
The reception was held in the church vestry. Assisting were Misses Ruth Webster, Rhonda Carmichael, Susan Jones, Jane Bero, Miriam Smith, Cindy Morin, Ellen Littlefield, Elspeth Hotchkiss and Dorothy Amy Howard.
Mrs. White graduated from Presque Isle High School and University of Maine. Mr. White graduated from Washburn High School and attended Beal Business College.
They will reside in Nashua, N.H.
