Sheryl A. Pooler Marries Edrick Charles Flewelling

WASHBURN -- Miss Sheryl Ann Pooler, daughter of Mrs. Lottie Pooler and the late Orman Pooler, became the bride of Sgt. Edrick Charles Flewelling, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edrick M. Flewelling of Crouseville April 25 [1970] at the Washburn Pentecostal Church.

The Rev. David Asel performed the ceremony. Mrs. Peter Flewelling of New Castle, N.H., was soloist and Miss Carolyn Flewelling of Crouseville was organist.

The bride, escorted by her brother, Joseph Pooler of Presque Isle, wore a floor length victorian gown of silk spun jersey. Her Chapel veil fell from a cluster of petals adorned with seed pearls. She carried a cascade bouquet of white carnations and lavender daises.

Mrs. Linda Pooler of Presque Isle was matron of honor and Miss Debbie Shepard of Randolph was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Prudence Nickerson of Washburn and Miss Barbara Flewelling of Crouseville. They wore gowns of lavender dotted swiss and carried colonial bouquets of lavender and white poms.

Best man was Peter Flewelling of New Castle. N.H. Ushers were Kermit Pooler, Steven Helstrom and Douglas Flanagin.

Flower girls were Michell Pooler and Cheri McCrossin. Eugene McCrossin was ring bearer.

A reception was held in the Washburn Elementary School cafeteria. Those assisting were Miss Susan Flewelling, Miss Janet Duncan, Miss Lori Duncan, Mrs. Donna Wilcox, Mrs. Grace Parker, Mrs. Phyllis Allen, Mrs. Ruth Duncan, Mrs. Florence Tompkins, Miss Beverley Huston and Miss Gayle Gould.

The bride is a 1968 graduate of Washburn District High School and a 1969 graduate of Beal Business College, Bangor.

The bridegroom, a 1969 graduate of Washburn District High School, is serving in the Army.

Following a wedding trip the couple will leave for Fort Bragg, N.C.
