WASHBURN -- A bridal shower honoring Miss Susan Jones was held Wednesday evening at the United Memorial Methodist Church dining room. The room was decorated with pink and white crepe paper and white wedding bells. A miniature bride and bridegroom was the center piece on the gift table.

Miss Jones' grandmother, Mrs. Ried McPherson, of Presque Isle, made the shower cake. Mrs. Susan Lunny, of Presque Isle, A class mate, assisted Miss Jones to unwrap her gifts.

Refreshments were served by Mrs. Lorraine Harrison. Mrs. Vesta Thompson and Mrs. Lois Jardine. Mrs. Christine Lavway was at the punch bowl.
