MRS. PETER RUSSELL (Miss Marilyn Schmidt)Given in marriage by her father the bride was radiant in a gown of embroidered organdy and venice lace, fashioned with a high standing collar, long sleeves, hi-rise waistline and tapered skirt. Her floor length veil was attached to a matching pill-box. She carried white daisies.
Mrs. Daniel Kocsis, sister of the bride, of Clifton, N.J., was matron of honor. Her gown was of blue sata peau fashioned with high neckline, long full sleeves, hi-rise waistline and full skirt. She wore a headpiece of silk leaves with pearlized tendrils and carried blue and yellow daisies.
Bridesmaids were Mrs. Wayne Sewelmacher, New Paltaz, N.J., Mrs. John Dobol, Clifton, N.J. Miss Jeanne Schmidt, sister of the bride, of Clifton, N.J. They carried blue daisies.
Best man was Steven Carleton, Winchester, Mass.
Ushers were Richard Russell, Springfield, Mass., Daniel Kocsis of Clifton, N.J. and Dana Bent, Southbridge, Mass.
Mrs. Schmidt wore a maize ensemble complemented with a corsage of white camellias.
Mrs. Russell wore a pink ensemble with an orchid corsage.
A reception was held at Albert's Chateau, W. Hanover, N.J., at which the guest book was in the charge of Miss Jeanne Schmidt.
The bride is a graduate of New England College with a BA degree in Elementary Education. She is a member of Phi Tau Beta Honor Society. She has been teaching the third grade in Washington, Nutley, N.J. In September she will be teaching in Concord, N.H.
The bridegroom is a senior at New England College majoring in marketing. He is a member of Sigma Phi Delta Fraternity.
For a wedding trip to Canada the bride chose a white and blue dress with white accessories.
They will reside in Contoocook, N.H., on their return.
