Huston-Cline Nuptials Solemnized At Woodland

Miss Janice Marie Huston, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Perley Huston of Washburn, became the bride of Allen Lewis Cline, son of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Cline of Seneca Falls, N.Y., the afternoon of May 1 [1971] at the Carson Union Church in Woodland.

The Rev. Read Blackstone of Perham ofliciated at the double ring ceremony.

Faith Parker sang "Each For the Other" and "I Love You Truly," accompanied by Mrs. Bert Sands, pianist. Spring flowers were decorations; with the pews marked with bows and jonquils and with candles at the windows.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor length gown of Alencon lace over peau-de-soie with a matching train attached to a Juliet tiara. She carried a Bible covered with satin and decorated with ribbon streamers and stephanotis.

Mrs. Nancy Hersey of Woodland was matron of honor. She wore a floor length yellow empire style gown and carried a single long stemmed yellow rose. Miss June Gamblin of Portland was bridesmaid. She wore a floor length mint green taffeta gown and carried a single long stemmed yellow rose.

Max Pool of Loring AFB served as best man. Dale Acker of Loring was usher. Vicky Sands and Bobby Sands were train bearers.

For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Huston wore a two piece dress of blue jersey complemented with miniature white carnations.

Mrs. Cline, mother of the bridegroom, chose a cherry blossom pink dress with a miniature white carnation.

An evening reception was held at the American Legion Home. Miss Millie Theriault circulated the guest book and Miss Cindy Prestwood had charge of the gift table.

Kathy Doody and Rebecca Sutherland assisted with receiving and Lorraine Huston, Shirley Sutherland , Rena Hutchins, Shirley Labeau and Elinor Doody with serving. Mrs.Paul Wheeler of Buffalo. N.Y., sister of the bridegroom, cut the cake which was served by Beverly and Sandra Huston.

For traveling the bride chose a green pant suit with white accessories. Following a trip to Bar Harbor and along the coast of Maine, the couple is residing at 245 1/2 North Street, Geneva, N.Y.

The bride is a graduate of Washburn High School. The bridegroom is a graduate of Mynderse Academy High School and is employed as a mechanic by Howard's Co. in Geneva, N.Y.
