Mrs. Ronald E. Dickinson (Gayle L. Churchill)Conducting the double ring, candlelight ceremony in a setting of two large baskets of veragated pastel glads was the Rev. Millard Dickinson. Soloist was Mrs. Maynard Buck with "Walk Through This World With Me." She was accompanied by Mrs. Ernest Thompson Sr., organist.
Given in marriage by her father the bride had selected a white dotted swiss gown accented with white lace around the arms and empire waist. Her veil was chapel-length. Her large bouquet of veragated daisies and yellow sweetheart roses was accented with white baby's breath and greenry.
Maid of honor was Miss Barbara A. Tardie of Crouseville. Her pastel, blue dotted swiss gown was accented by satin ribbon around the empire waist. She wore a white picture hat and carried a small bouquet of veragated daisies with baby's breath and greenry with matching ribbon and lace.
The bridesmaids were Lorinda J. Plissey and Beverly L. Cole. Miss Plissey's yellow dotted swiss gown had a white lace accent around the empire waist. Her picture hat was yellow. Miss Cole wore a mint green dotted swiss gown with satin ribbon accenting the empire waist. She wore a green picture hat. The bouquets were similar to the maid of honor's.
The bridegroom's attendant was Danny Oakes of Easton.
Ushers included Robert Davis of Presque Isle and Robert Dickinson of Perham.
Flower girl, Dianne Dickinson, wore a lavender dotted swiss gown, accented with white daisies and a white picture hat. Her basket contained daisy petals.
Matthew Wilcox was ring bearer.
Mrs. Churchill selected a pink brocade dress complemented by a corsage of pink sweetheart roses.
For her son's wedding, Mrs. Dickinson chose a brown and white ensemble with a corsage of assorted mums.
The reception, held in the church vestry, saw Mrs. Edward Dyer cutting the cake while Julie Stoddard and Tammy S. Flanagin served the punch. Others serving included Mrs. Keith Humphrey, Mrs. Gordon Anderson, Mrs. Murray Allen Jr. and Mrs. Morris Parker.
Kathy E. Churchill, sister of the bride, circulated the guest book and Faith Parker and Wendy and Colleen Dyers were in charge of the gift table.
A blue double knit dress accented by white daisies with blue centers was the bride's choice for her traveling ensemble along the Maine coast.
A 1972 graduate of Washburn District High School, the bride was active in the school's activities.
Dickinson, a 1969 graduate of WDHS, is a member of the Maine National Guard and is employed by Russell Huston of Perham.
