25 Years With Company

Miss Lois M. Learnard, assistant treasurer of the Washburn Trust Company, Washburn, recently completed 25 years of employment with the bank. Observance of the occasion was held at the bank offices with officers and employes in attendance. Laurel W. Thompson, president of the Washburn Trust Company, presented Miss Learnard a plaque in recognition of her 25 years of service to the bank, its clientele and to the community. A letter of appreciation by the Board of Directors was also presented together with an appropriate gift. Miss Learnard is a native of Washburn, the daughter of Mrs. Pearl M. Learnard, and the late Harold A. Learnard. She graduated from Washburn High School, attended Ricker Junior College and Nasson College. After graduation from Nasson in June of 1947, she immediately entered the employ of the Washburn Trust Company as a stenographer and clerk. She was elected assistant treasurer in 1951 and has served in that capacity since.
