MRS. RODNEY W. LEACH
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a traditional floor length gown of chantilly lace over white satin, with empire bodice and scalloped at the edge of the sleeves and hemline. Her long veil ending in a train, was attached to a juliet cap of satin and lace. She carried a white Bible covered with lavender poms and stephontis and ivy.
Miss Bonnie Maynard, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.
Other attendants included Misses Jane Howard, Lorrie Maynard. sister of the bride; Karla Leach, sister of the bridegroom; and Pam Flewelling, flower girl.
The attendants gowns, fashioned alike, were floor length, styled with empire bodice and short puffed sleeves. The maid of honor chose deep orchid, with paler orchid trim. Other attendants wore pale orchid with deeper orchid trim. They carried colonial bouquets of lavender and white poms with baby's breath.
The bride's gown, veil and attendants' gowns were made by Mrs. Mary MacDonald of Easton.
Terry M. MacDonald of Easton was best man. Ushers were the bridegroom 's brothers, Alfred and Paul Leach, and Terry Flewelling. Kelly Leach, brother of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.
A wedding reception was held in the church basement.
Mr. and Mrs. Leach will live on Route 10 in Easton in the Wortman apartment.
The bride was graduated from Washburn District High School, Class of 1971. She attended Northern Maine Vocational Technical Institute and is now employed at the City Clerk's office in Presque Isle.
The bridegroom was graduated from Easton High School class of 1971. He will be a senior at the Northern Maine Vocational Technical Institute in Presque Isle, majoring in accounting.
