The double-ring candlelight ceremony was performed by the Rev. John Auditbert. Mrs. Robert Helstrom, soloist, was accompanied by Mrs. Ernest Thompson.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor-length chiffon over satin gown with long chiffon sleeves gathered at the wrist, lace trimmed and belted waist. Her floor-length veil was attached to a lace-covered camelot headpiece. She carried a basket of blue and green mums.
Maid of honor was Miss Lorinda Plissey. Bridesmaids were his sisters, Linda Tardie and Donna Tardie. The attendants wore gowns of floor-length flowered chiffon with matching picture hats. They carried baskets of blue and green mums.
Norman McIntosh of Presque Isle was best man. Ushers were Rodney Hotham and John Carter of Presque Isle.
The mother of the bride chose a gold and white knit floor-length gown and a gold carnation corsage. The bridegroom's mother was attired in a floor-length blue gown. Her corsage was a blue and white carnation.
A reception was held in the church dining room.
The ladies of the church catered at the reception. Mrs. Carol Jacobs cut the wedding cake. The guest book was circulated by Miss Sheila Tardie, sister of the bride. Gifts were looked after by Candice Duncan and Barbara Flewelling.
Following a wedding trip, the bridal couple will reside in Presque Isle.
