Mr. and Mrs. Larry Philip Adams
The Rev. John Audibert performed the double ring ceremony.
Miss Doody is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Turner A. Doody of Washburn. Adams is the son of Mrs. Dorothy Adams of Shelton, Conn. and the late Philip Adams.
Gary Doody led his sister to an altar decorated with yellow, pink and white gladiolus and daisies. Sister Claire played "A Time for Us" and the theme from Romeo and Juliet.
The bride wore a floor length empire style gown of silk organza with taffeta underlining and long sheer puffed sleeves decorated with white satin ribbons and lace. She also wore a Camelot headpiece of sheer nylon organza with seed pearls and lace and carried a bouquet of yellow and blue daisies and pink roses.
Miss Lois Doody of Washburn, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a pink and white flowered long gown of poly-puff seersucker trimmed with pink ribbon. She also wore a white picture hat and carried a bouquet of yellow, pink and blue daisies and mums.
Bridesmaids were two sisters of the groom, Mrs. Sherie Chickos of Stratford, Conn. and Mrs. Sheila Belyea of Bangor, and Miss Donna Bell of Caribou.
Wayne Smith of Caribou was best man. Ushers were Paul Harmon and Doug Lombard, both of Caribou, and Lloyd Adams of Shelton, Conn., brother of the groom.
Penny Boulier of Danbury, Conn., niece of the bride, was flower girl. Ring bearer was Chris Belyea of Bangor, nephew of the groom.
After their wedding, the new Mr. and Mrs. Adams greeted guests at a reception and dance at the Odd Fellows Hall in Caribou.
Cheryl Stairs attended the guest book. At the gift table were Leah and Tammy Adams, sisters of the groom; Mrs. Maxine Doody. sister-in-law of the bride, and Mrs. Dale Boulier, sister-in-law of the bride.
Assisting in receiving and serving were Mrs. Jeanette Hanson, Mrs. Jeanette Stairs, Mrs. Marilyn Thompson, Mrs. Earlene Hopkins, all aunts of the groom, and Mrs. Velva Doody, aunt of the bride, Mrs. Josephine Dow cut the cake and Mrs. Della Carman served it. Mrs. Sheila Belyea baked and decorated it.
After a four-day honeymoon trip along the coast of Maine, the couple is living at Clark Street in Washburn.
The bride is a 1970 graduate of Washburn District High School.
The groom graduated from Caribou High School in 1969 and attended Olivetti Technical Training Center in Tarrytown, N.Y. He is etnployed by County Beverage Co. in Caribou.

Miss Deby Traino of Jersey City, N.J., Lloyd Maxwell of Hartford, Conn., Mrs. Rhonda Crocker of Hyde Park, Mass. and Miss Linda Cook of Shelton, Conn.
