The Rev. Read Blackstone and. the Rev. Howard Roberts officiated at the double ring ceremony at the First Baptist Church of Perham.
Pink and orchid gladiolus and mums decorated the church.
Ronald Dow sang "Because." "Together We'll Go Now," "Aide In Us," "With This Ring" and "You Are Mine, I Am Yours" while Emma Dow played the organ.
The bride wore a chapel train gown of imported organza and chantilly lace with a pleated nylon and soft pink organza ruffle around the neckline and the cuffs of the long fitted lace sleeves. A deep band of sculptured lace encircled the A-line organza skirt and attached chapel train. Her elbow length illusion veil was caught in a band of white flowers and pink ribbon. She carried a bouquet of white mums, pink roses and baby's breath.
Kim Meister of Washburn was maid of honor for her sister. She wore an organza dress trimmed with hot pink satin bows at the empire waist and a hot pink picture hat. She carried hot pink and light pink daisies in a white satin basket with pink streamer.
Bridesmaids were Sylvia Fox and Darleen James of Washburn and Lori Blackstone of Perham. They wore hot pink and orchid flowered dresses and hot pink picture hats and carried hot and light pink and orchid daisies in white satin baskets.
Robert Blackstone of Greenville, S.C. was best man.
Ushers were Larry Fox of Washburn, Dale Blackstone of Fort Carson, Colo. and Douglas Blackstone of Perham.
For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Meister chose a long pink polyester gown with silk organza ruffle at the neck and hem and carried a miniature carnation nosegay.
Mother of the groom, Mrs. Blackstone, wore a hot pink polyester dress with chiffon sleeves trimmed with silver and gold braid. She carried pal pink miniature carnations.
The couple greeted guests at a reception in the dining room of the First Baptist Church. Joanna Dickenson attended the guest book and Lois James and Carol Nevers were in charge of the gift table. Joyce Blackstone poured, Mrs. Herman Nevers made and cut the cake and Lona and Lola Porter served the cake.
The bride wore a lilac and pink flowered polyester dress she had made and a pink rose corsage when she and her husband left for a three-day honeymoon at Bar Harbor. They are living in Allentown, N.H.
The bride is a 1970 graduate of Washburn District High School.
She attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C. for two years.
The groom is a 1969 graduate of Washburn District High School and a 1973 graduate of Bob Jones University, where he received a bachelor of arts degree in Bible. He will be minister of a new church he is founding in Pembroke, N.H.
