Beaulieu-Rossignol wed In Fort Fairfield

St. Denis Catholic Church in Fort Fairfield was the setting for the June 30 [1973] wedding of Miss Deborah Lee Beaulieu, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beaulieu of Fort Fairfield, and Wayne Donald Rossignol, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donat Rossignol of Washburn. Father Stephen Rice officiated at the double ring ceremony.

Steven Saucier was organist and accompanied John Gorman who sang "Ave Maria," "The Lord's Prayer" and "Mother, At Your Feet I'm Kneeling."

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length, empire style gown of organza over taffeta, A-line silhouette, featuring Gibson sleeves and with Venice lace trim. Venice lace also trimmed her headpiece and chapel length veiling. She carried a cascade bouquet of roses and ivy.

Miss Barbara Ann Beaulieu, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the Misses Marie, Bonnie and Terry Beaulieu, all sisters of the bride, and Miss Vicki Rossignol of Washburn, sister of the groom. They wore rainbow colored gowns with matching picture hats and carried long-stemmed white roses.

Robert Rossignol of Washburn served as best man for his brother. Ushers were Jay Duacan of Waahburn, John Doe of Millinocket, Peter Beaulieu of Limestone and Paul Beaudette of Auburn.

Holly Haines was flower girl and Christopher Tardiff was ring bearer.

For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Beaulieu chose a rose polyester knit gown with a corsage of pink carnations.

Mrs. Rossignol, mother of the groom, chose a blue polyester knit gown with a corsage of yellow carnations.

A reception was held at Aroostook Valley Country Club. Cindy Haines had charge of the guest book. Assisting in receiving and serving were Becky Currier, Sarah Everett, Linda Fowler, Connie Nevers, Carla Hayes and Sharon Goodine.

Following a wedding trip to Bar Harbor, the couple is residing in Houlton.

The bride was graduated from the University of Maine at Fort Kent last month and will be teaching fifth grade at the Lambert School in Houlton.

The bridegroom was graduated from the University of Maine at Fort Kent in 1972 where he was a member of Omega Sigma Beta Fraternity. He taught at Madawaska High School this past year and will be sixth grade Science teacher at the Lambert School in Houlton.
