Mrs. Dow has been organist and choir director for the church during the past 36 years. Many fine tributes were paid to her by those representing the different organizations of the church. Gifts were presented from the Church Choir, the Willing Worker's Circle and the First Baptist Church by Mrs. Opal Meister. Mrs. Harriett Holts and Carroll Blackstone, respectively.
Refreshments were served in the dining room by a committee from the Willing Workers Circle. Pouring coffee and dipping punch were Mrs. Lily Harris and Mrs. Harry Hallowell.
Members of the neighboring Advent Christian Church of Dunn Town joined the Perham Church for this occasion to pay tribute to Mrs. Dow. Also attending were several former choir members from surrounding towns and visitors from Presque Isle, Caribou, New Sweden and Limestone.
