The bride, escorted by her father, had selected a gown of sheer organza over peau de soie featuring a bodice of satin and trimmed with imported lace and white bridal satin ribbon. The gown was accented with a high neckline, full bishop sleeves, empire waistline, full skirt and ruffled edging. Her attire was complemented with a nylon veil and a satin-trimmed organza train and a bouquet of poms, roses and daisies.
Miss Debra Thomas was the maid of honor and Miss Sandra Nickerson was a bridesmaid.
The bridegroom's attendant was Dale Olson with Alan Refalko and Lane Plissey as ushers.
A reception was held at Nightingale's Hall in Mapleton with the maid of honor and bridesmaid serving the cake. The cake was made by Mrs. Beverly Nelder and cut by Mrs. Cora Brown, aunts of the bride, Miss Debra Donovan circulated the guest book while Miss Cathy Espling, Miss Kathy Donovan and Miss Sharon Batron tended the gift table.
For the honeymoon to New Jersey, the bride had chosen a traveling ensemble of a cranberry and pink pantsuit complemented with blue shoes and accessories. They will reside in Crouseville.
Out-of-town guests were from New Jersey, North Windham and Presque Isle.
The bride is a student at Washburn District High School. A 1972 graduate of Rancocas Valley Regional High School, Mount Holly, N.J., the bridegroom is presently employed by Nickerson Chrysler Plymouth of Caribou.
