Discovery
In 1985, Robert B. Ballard had
discovered Titanic in his mini submarine called Alvin.
He had one week left when he had finally found Titanic
and had actually found it. It was the greatest
expedition for shipwrecks, to find the 1912 ship that
sank in less than three hours. It was to be lifted by
someone else, but he said, "No." He still
believes it is a grave sight that should not be disturbed.
His experience of the Titanic was
much different than what he had thought it would be. He
had actually thought that Titanic would have
been well preserved. He thought it would look the same as
it did in 1912. But then he remembered that the Titanic
had went down two miles deep. It must have been
grabbing objects as it went down the bottom of the sea
and landed in a CLASH.
