can read them when you are doing this homework activity.
A) Shoreline Community College takes plagiarism
very seriously. In this class, like most classes, plagiarism on any assignment
will result in a grade of “0.0” on that assignment and the assignment cannot be
redone. If you plagiarize on a second assignment, we will have a meeting
together with the ESL division chair to determine if you can still pass this
class and to determine if you can continue to study at Shoreline. Please review
your syllabus to see how plagiarism is defined by Shoreline.
B)
In addition, to learn how to avoid plagiarism, your homework is to do the
self-study unit created by The University of Maryland.
C)
At the bottom of each page in this study unit you will see a link to go to the
next page. It looks like this:

an Example , it is important that you click on them to read good examples of what
they are writing about.
F)
After several pages, they will ask you questions. You should answer these by
clicking True False
G) At the end of the study guide, their is a
“post-test.” You will see a link that says “I'm Ready to Take the Plagiarism Post-test!” You should take this test.
H)
If you pass the test, you will receive a certificate at the end that states
that you passed the test. If you do not get this certificate, you should go
back and study. You should then retake the test until you get a 100% and can
print out the certificate.
I)
