Well, welcome to the brief section of my webpage devoted to me, myself, and I. A picture will come sooner or later...I think. Where to start, where to start. Well, the beginning works just fine. Hi, my name's Anne Jackson, and I classify myself as being from everywhere and nowhere. Yes, you read that right. The reason: like my good friend Rachel, I've been moving around all my life. The difference there: she's been moving around the midwest. I've been living overseas for *quick mental calculations* about 12 and a half of my 20 years. The other 7 and a half were spent between Staten Island, NY (don't remember that year and a half at all), Lodi, CA (nice town), and *insert drumroll here* lovely little Northfield, MN, where I go to St. Olaf College. I'm currently in second semester of my sophomore year here, and it's not half bad here. Granted, I wish I was in Mackville (WI) with the love of my young life, but what can you really do? At least he'll be attending St. Olaf starting September. But I'm an Asian Studies major here, and I'd like to look into any sort of Middle Eastern Studies major or concentrations I can get. Too bad I can't take Arabic here. : ) What else, what else...hmm. My hobbies are swimming, RPGs, and collecting the major works of Tchaikovsky in CD form. I've already started (thank you, Best Buy!). Hmm...I also love anime, especially Tenchi Muyo! and Neon Genesis Evangelion. Oh yeah, I also LOVE llamas. Just ask my friend Briana. She's the one who gave me the nickname "the High Llama". : ) |
