Generating three Wings requires:
The Megami have the ability to generate Wings. Tsunami has shown that she can generate up to 10 Wings when under attack.
Tenchi is the only person known to have the ability to generate Light Hawk Wings without the assistance of a ship. With only three Wings (a low number, according to Tokimi in Here Comes Jurai! 2), Tenchi has the power of Transformation of Objects, including the formation of Kou-oh-ken (Sword of the Light Hawk).
Although I, Washu, personally put Tenchi through several tests (not to mention experiments of my own design), the subject was unable to generate the Wings of his own free will. With time and/or practice, however, this may change.
Below please find my salvaged notes on Tenchi:
Astral Pattern: Hypothesis 1. The Wings came from Tsunami. At the time of the Subject's WLH projection, the Soja was completely cut off from Tsunami's power. Kagato ensured this, in case Tsunami attempted to escape.
Parallel Pattern: Hypothesis 2. The Wings were subconscious memories from previous experience. This proved negative, since Subject's body shows no signs of stress from WLHs in his earlier life, which would certainly have shown up given Subject's willingness to have head up his ass.
Overdimensional Pattern: Hypothesis 3. The Wings came from a parallel universe. No dimensional crossovers were detected from the time I was released from the Soja.
Psycholayer Pattern: Hypothesis 4. The Wings sprang from deep within the recesses of Subject's mind. This one was a long shot, but it too, proved a fruitless exercise; no abnormal psychoses were found.
Virgin Pattern: Hypothesis 5. The Wings "pop up" (pardon the pun) when Subject is exposed to extreme stress. Theoretically, then, when faced with the prospect of losing his virginity, Subject will spontaneously generate WLHs.
Subject was too tense for experiment to continue. When I tried to arouse Subject with the help of . . . ahem . . . certain talents I possess, test was interrupted by a Blonde Dingbat and all subsequent data was lost.
