The First Sighting
At about 10:30 pm on the evening of November 15, 1966, two young
married couples, Roger and Linda Scarberry and Steve and Mary Mallette
were driving on route 62 near Point Pleasant where the roads go through
a local parking known as the TNT area. The TNT plant is a place where
weapons were made during world war two. It was closed after the war and
had been a wild life preserve for many years, Its also a toxic waste site. As
they drove by they saw what appeared to be two large glowing red eyes
staring at them. Roger slowed the car to get a better look and in the dark

they could make out something that seemed to be about the size and
shape of a man without a head but had glowing red eyes where the chest
should be. The creature turned toward the plant walking with a strange
shuffling gait, on its back was what appeared to be large wings. Roger
then left the area, however when the four looked back the seen the
creature decided to follow them. They stated that the creature kept up
speed with them, even going at 100 miles per hour. It made a screaming
sound like a large mouse. When the police arrived after their report there
was nothing there
The Second Sighting

Partridge reported he was watching television and the screen suddenly
went black and his dog Bandit started howling. He went outside with his
flashlight to correct the problem, he saw two red eyes staring at him. His
dog took off toward where he seen the eyes which then vanished. He

heard his dog yelp and never saw him again. However the dog was found
dead 90 miles away back in Point Pleasant
