The House Guests | ||||||||

When I was young two of my aunts were staying together in a house way out in the country, surrounded by orchards and trees. In the house there were certian areas that gave them strange feelings when they walked by. When you walked by the heating furnace you would feel as if someone was trying to touch or grab you and in one of the bedrooms you would feel like someone was watchign you from behind the door. Both my aunts were uneasy about these feelings so they called a medium to come out and bless the house. The medium told them not to tell her anything about the spirits haunting their house that she would sence the energy. Upon entering, the first place she walked to was the heating furnace. She threw holy water at it and they saw a spark, she did it one more time and there was a power surge, then she said that spirit had gon away. The very next place she went was to the bedroom and she looked behind the door, she said that entity was a strong force. She once again threw holy water and they seen a spark, again and there was again a power surge and for that one she threw holy water one more time and the power had went out for a minute. While the power was out, they saw a flash with a man's face in it and it looked as if he was in pain. The medium then told them that the spirits had gone but they were very angry and would return at a later date stronger then they were before. Needless to say both of my aunts moved out shortly after that. Another story from the same house is not quite a ghost story, but still very strange. All of the nieces and nephews including myself were visiting our aunts and we always went and played out in the orchards and trees. As we were out there playing, when all of the sudden we saw this little creature that looked kinda like a gremlin but it had only one leg that looked like a tree stump with a claw on the bottom. We all sreamed when we saw it, but the funny thing is it mockingly screamed back at us before hoping away into the orchard. That was a strange day. |
