The gang is all sitting in the woods talking about what to do next. JP wants to go fight Grumblemon so they can get Zoe's spirit back but everyone else wants to go to the Forest Terminal. Bokomon suggests they go see Shamamon to have their future read. They go to the temple where Shamanmon is and he tells them that they will face someone they have fought before and that he will have a friend this time. He also tells them that someone whose a friend will become and enemy and that Takuya and Tommy will be the ones with the biggest problems. Suddenly Grumblemon and Golemon attack. Takuya, Tommy and JP Spirit Evolve. Koji tries to Sirit Evolve but Grumblemon throws something on the ground that causes Koji to not be able to Spirit Evolve. Takuya, Tommy and Jp attack Golemon together and defeat him. Grumblemon does a Slide Evolution and starts kicking butt again. Tommy gets caught and his Spirit is captured by Grumblemon. The temple behind them explodes and a mystery Digimon comes out. The mystery Digimon grabs into the ground and pulls out Golemon and raises him into the air where he drops him and destroys him. Grumblemon dives underground and escapes which also causes the thing around Koji to disappear. The mystery Digimon tells Takuya that he's really Shamanmon and that he has been taken over by a Spirit. Takuya weakens him and then uses his D-Tector to free him. This also causes his D-Tector to take in the new Spirit and Takuya Spirit Evolves. He loses complete control and Koji Spirit Evolves to stop him.
