They see some light ahead of them and run to it thinking it's the exit but it just leads to another cave. A Whamon appears from the water in the middle of the cave and splashes around. The kids Spirit Evolve because they don't want him to cause the cave to fall in. They end up calming him down and he tells them that he hates being down there and that he wants to get out. All of the watter suddenly leaves the hole that Whamon is in and Grumblemon bursts out. He opens his bottle and calls a bunch of Golemon. Koji and Takuya destroy most of them but rest of the kis get surrounded and then Koji and Takuya get caught by Arbormon. Tommy and JP both Spirit Evolve and attack all the Golemon. JP attacks Grumblemon but gets knocked out causing him to turn back to his human form. Grumblemon goes to attack JP but Whamn hits him with a blast of water which also causes a new spirit to appear. JP grabs it and Spirit Evolves into Metalkabuterimon. JP looses control and ends up blasting the roof of the cave causing it to fall all around everyone. JP gains control and uses Electroncannon on Grumblemon, destroying him. This also causes Zoe's Spirit to become free and she gets it back. The cave starts to flood but the kids all wake up inside Whamon, who takes them out into the ocean since the cave is no longer blocked up.
