Zoe and Takuya dash off into the water to swim to the island but a group of Gomamon stop them and tell them that a bunch of whirlpools surround the islands only beach and that they won't be able to get there. The Gomamon tell the kids how they use to live on the island but are now unable to return because of the whirlpools. Zoe says that they can join. The kids build a boat but half way across the ocean they get attacked by ranamon. Zoe Spirit evolves but gets knocked into a whirlpool where she finds her Beast Spirit. She Spirit Evolves into Sephermon. Ranamon Spirit evolves into her new form but looses control of it again. The kids arrive on the island but the Gomamon tell them that the Toucanmon have already left to go to a traders festival.
