The ground backs apart and the kids get teleported away from Bokumon and Neemon and they end up in some cave like place. JP gets pushed into a portal and he ends up in a place full of rocks and he gets attacked by Volcamon. Volcamon tells JP that one his friends pushed him and that he has no real friends. JP calls him a liar and Spirit Evolves into Beatlemon. JP beats him and takes his Fractal Code. JP questions what Volcamon told him and a new voice starts speaking to him and reminds him of when he was in school and how his classmates wouldn't walk with him so he could use their umbrellas. The kids left in the cave get attacked by some weird rubber like arms that come out of the soft rock. The kids all Spirit Evolve. The kids realize that JP must have been attacked by the arms also and sent into the portal. JP gets blocked off from the area around him by some blue laser type things and a dark verson of Beatlemon appears and makes JP see images of the other kids calling him names. JP starts fighting his dark self but loses and goes back to his human form. JP says the images are fake and tells his dark self that his friends will come and they suddenly come through the portal and see the fake images. JP sees them and has renewed faith, so he Spirit Evolves into MetalKabuterimon. His dark self also evolves and they fight. JP destroys his dark self and realizes the other kids are his friends. The arms attack the kids again and they send the kids into different portals.
