They start walking across the bridge and Henry is talking about how he just wanted to be a good Tamer and now he has to worry about Susie and getting home. Takato asks Terriermon how he's feeling and he says that he is feeling fine and that they need to need to be Zhuqiaomon, save Calumon and get home. Takato says he hopes it's that easy and Kazu says that he's ready to fight. They hear a moan and it's Jeri. Takato tells her that he doesn't want to see anyone else get destroyed and that is why they must defeat Zhuqiaomon. Rika comes up and aks Jeri if she never wanted to fight and that she doesn't find fighting fun any more. Rika explains that this is a fight that they can't run from. Takato suggests that Jeri stays there while they go fight Zhuqiaomon. Jeri tells them that all of them would get home except Leomon. Henry and Susie start shouting at each other cause Henry doesn't want Susie to go with them cause he is afraid she will get hurt. Lopmon says she will go but Susie says she doesn't want her to get hurt. Lopmon says she has to go and Susie suggests that Terriermon stays behind since he is hurt anyway. Terriermon says he is going and that they will be just fine without her, which causes Susie to cry. Henry gets really mad and tells Suzie to stop crying and that she is going to stay right there.Susie grabs onto his leg and he raises his hand at her, about to slap her. Henry lowers his hand and tells her that she shouldn't even be there and that it's too dangerous for her. Kaxu says he and Kenta will stay behind and watch Susie. Susie says she will be okay and decides to stay with Kazu and Kenta. Lopmon, Rika, Henry, Takato and their digimon get on a lift type thing and a bubble surrounds them and it starts moving down the path. Henry starts complaining about Susie being in the Digital World and Lopmon says she brought Susie here. Henry then starts talking about how upset his parents must be and Rika says that her mom and grandma must be worried about her. Takato tells her that they know she is alright cause he sent them a message when they were traped in that room with water all around. Rika gets mad and says he better not have put little hearts in the message and that a smiley face would have been better than that. Takato lies and says he did put a smiley face and she gets even madder. Zhuqiaomon starts talking about how the Tamers have taken over his world and destroyed his servents and says that they will pay. The Tamers arrive at the doors and the Digimon sense a powerful Digimon near by. They head down the hall towards where the Digimon might be. Lopmon asks to have her request heard and the door opens. Henry demands Calumon to be brought back. Zhuqiaomon says no and that the Catalas belongs in the Digital World. The Tamers wonder why he called Calum that. Henry says that he won't be scared off and Rika ask what about the other Tamers cause they are in this too. The Tamers say they will fight along with Henry, so Henry asks Terriormon if he is ready to fight and he says he is but he's a litle nervous. Renamon, Terriermon and Guilmon all Matrix Digivolve. Zhuqiaomon uses Phoenix Fire and it hits Wargrrowlmon, Taomon and Rapidmon. The Tamers are amazed that the Digimon were taken down in one shot and wonder how he can be so powerful. Zhuqiaomon uses Phoenix Fire again and Taomon uses her shield attack to block the move from her and the Tamers. Kazu is complaning about watching two sad girls. Jeri talks to her Digivice and says that Leomon would still be alive if it hadn't been for her. Wargrowlmon uses Atomic Blasters and Rapidmon uses Rapid-fire but they don't even hurt Zhuqiaomon. He uses Phoenix Fire again and it hits Wargrowlmon and Rapidmon, causing them to slid back towards Taomon and breaking her shield. He uses Phoneix Fire again and Wargrowlmon uses his body as a shield. Rapidmon flies out and goes up to Zhuqiamon's mouth and fires an Atomic Blast but it doesn't work cause he is so weak. Zhuqiamon uses Phoenix Fire and Rapidmon gets stuck to a wall. Lopmon says she is powerless since she can't digivolve and that she shouldn't even be there. Zuqiaomon offers to take Lopmon back as his last Deva but she says she can no longer serve someone who is so evil. He shoots a Phoenix Fire at her. Susie suddenly looks up cause she can sense that Lopmon is in danger. Her Digivice starts beeping and it shows what happened to Lopmon. Susie hears her brother saying that she is stay but she starts climbing the wall. Guardmon asks if she thinks that's safe and she says no. Susie prays and says that Lopmon can't leave her. Her Digivice glows and it lifts her into the air, carrying her to where the other Tamers are. Kazu comes running out and asks where Susie is and he tells him that she flew away. Kazu gets bad and asks why he wasn't watching her and Guardmon tells him that he did watch her fly away. Wargrowlmon blocks the Phoenix Fire that was shot at Lopmon. Rapidmon shoots something at Zhuqiaomon and he stops using the Phoenix Fire. Rapidmon starts flashing on the wall and Taomon tells him to cool it cause if he doesn't, he will be destroyed. Henry starts crying and says that he couldn't stop thinking about Susie and that he shouldn't have sent Terriermon into battle knowing how bad he was hurt. Henry says that he must be about the worst Digimon Tamer. Rapidmon says it wasn't his fault and that it's Zhuqiaomon's fault. He breaks loose from the wall but Zhuqiaomon uses Phoenix FIre and causes Rapidmon to turn back into Terriermon. Henry runs and picks up Terriermon. Henry says he shouldn't have pushed Terriermon so hard but Terriermon says it wasn't his fault. Terriermon tells Henry to look behind him and that he doesn't need to do everything himself because the other Tamers are there to help him. Susie comes flying in and lands in front of Lopmon. Lopmon asks her what she is doing there and Susie says that she had called her there. Terriermon stands up and says that he can't stop fighting if Susie is going to be in danger. Henry and Terriermon Biomerge into Megagargomon. Calumon is shown climbing up some rocky cliff wall and he sees a light. Zhuqiaomon gets mad at the sight of humans and Digimon digivolving together and he uses Desolation Blast which causes parts of the castle to fall. Taomon puts up her shield to keep the Tamers safe. Megagargomon uses Powe Pummel which breaks the barrier that was around Zhuqiaomon. Megagargomon Kicks him three times in the head and then he uses Mega Barrage. Zhuqiaomon uses Phoenix Fire but Megagargomon uses Gargo Missles which breaks up the Phoenix Fire and hits Zhuqiaomon. Zhuqiaomon then falls through the floor. The Tamers are happy that it's over and Takato says thanks to Henry cause they would have lost if it weren't for him and Terriermon. Henry says they won because they are a team and that they should go find Calumon now but suddenly Zhuqiaomon rises through the floor. Episode 38: Azulongmon Explains It All Writen by Americanpieflute In the real world, Henry's dad and the other people who worked on the Digimon project are trying to build an arc to send to the Digital World to save the Tamers but they are having some problems. Henry's dad says it will be done soon but that he hopes it isn't too late. Back in the Digital World, Zhuqiaomon isn't very happy and uses Sonic Zephyr which blows the Tamers and their Digimon in the air. Renomon digivolves to Taomon and uses Talisman Spell which incloses the Tamers and Digimon in a semi-circle that floats in the air and acts like a shield. Zhuqiaomon tries to ram the shield but Taomon moves it out of the way. Taomon is still weak from the last battle with Zhuqiaomon and is having trouble keeping the shield up. Zhuqiaomon starts chasing them and Taomon keeps moving the shield but Zhuqiaomon hits it and causes it to spin through the air. When the shield stops spinning, Terriermon and Guilmon jump out of it. Guilmon uses Pyro Sphere and Terriermon uses Terrier Tornado on Zhuqiaomon as they fall through the air but it doesn't do anything. They use the attacks again but they still don't do anything. Zhuqiaomon rams Terriermon and Guilmon and causes them to fall right into the water below. Takato asks Zhuqiaomon to stop but he says that their fate has already been sealed. Zhuqiaomon uses Blazing Helix on Terriermon and Guilmon as they swim towards land but someone from the sky uses Lightning Whip and causes the Blazing Helix to land in the water, away from Terriermon and Guilmon. Zhuqiaomon demands the Digimon to show itself and it's Azulongmon. The Tamers get worried that both the Digimon will attack them and that they will have no chance of winning. Azulongmon asks Zhuqiaomon to stop the attack on the humans. Zhuqiaomon gets annoyed and uses Blazing Helix on Azulongmon but he uses Aurora Force, which hits the Blazing Helix and causes the Tamers to go flying through the air again. Takato wonders why the Sovereigns are fighting. Azulongmon tells Zhuqiaomon to stop fighting and that it's pointless. Zhuqiaomon says he wants to destroy the humans so they can digivolve and defeat their true enemy. Azulongmon says not everyone agrees with that and that some think they need to stop digivolving so the true enemy won't attack. Zhuqiaomon asks Azulongmon if that is why he changed the Catalyst into a Digimon but he says he wasn't the one who did it but that it was a wise decision. Susie wises that Azulongmon and Zhuqiaomon would hurry up. Lopmon explains that Azulongmon is trying to convince Zguqiaomon not to hurt them. Henry asks Lopmon who the true enemy is but she says that she doesn't really know and that it isn't a Digimon or a Human and that it is something no one has ever seen before. Calumon continues to climb up the rocky cliff wall. Azulongmon tells ZHuqiaomon that he is playing a dangerouse game but Zhuqiaomon says it isn't a game and that he will use the Catalyst to save them. Calumon is shown again climbing the rocky cliff wall and he ends up sliping down it some. Henry asks Lopmon if the Catalyst is Calumon and she says it is. Azulongmon says that maybe the power of humans and Digimon digivolving together will save them and not the Catalyst but Zguqiaomon refuses to believe that. Azulongmon asks if he is sure enough to risk the whole Digital World and he says he is. Guilmon finally reaches land. Zhuqiaomon shoots a Blazing Helix at Guilmon. Takato says he has to make Zhuqiaomon understand. Takato jumps out of the shield and races beside the Blazing Helix. His Digivice starts to glow. Takato and uilmon biomerge into Gallantmon. The Blazing Helix hits him but it doesn't hurt him any. Gallantmon uses Lightning Jolt but Zhuqiaomon knocks it away with his wing. Zhuqiaomon uses Pheonix Fire but Gallantmon's shield blocks it. Gallantmon tries to tell Zhuqiaomon that they want to save the Digital World as much as him but Zhuqiaomon calls him a liar. Gallantmon says that if the only way to make him believe is to defeat him, then so be it. Gallantmon and Zhuqiaomon charge at each other but Azulongmon shoots a chain between them and tells them to stop. Azulongmon says they should be focusing their energy on the true enemy and not each other. Ryo and Cyberdramon see the white castle. Ryo says they must be close to this powerfull Digimon. Cyberdramon says he senses him and Ryo asks if the Digimon is in the forest below them. Cyberdramon says that he doesn't know but he'll know all the tree down to find out. The forest suddenly rises up and it's Ebonwumon, one of the sovereign. Ryo asks him if this is his domain or Biomons. Ebonwumon says that he is only watching over it while Biomon fights a battle with a creature. Cyberdramon growls and Ebonwumon says that they are fighting near a chasm. Ryo looks over at it and sees a big flash of light and hears a lot of noise. Ryo asks Cyberdramon if he can tell what's going on and he says that a great battle between Biomon and something else is happening down there. Kazu, Kenta and Jeri all ride Guardomon to where rest of the Tamers are. Takato asks Jeri if she is okay and she says that maybe they shouldn't have come there cause all they see is pain. Henry says that he knows it hurts but they have to bear the pain and press on. Henry then asks Azulongmon and Zhuqiaomon what the true enemy is but they say they don't know. Rika asks where it came from but Azulongmon says that he isn't sure and that it has been there since the Digital World was created and that long ago it went beneath the Digital World. Azulongmon shows a map like thing explaining how the Digital World is layered. Ryo says that it's now quit and that it worries him. Azulongmon says that one day the true enemy was gone and that Digimon began to digivolv and that they made their own layers and it caused the wakening of the true enemy. Ryo says that they might see the creature in the chasm sooner than they think. Zhuqiaomon says that the Catalyst is what helps them digivolv beyond what they once were. He uses Sonic Zephyr and it blows away from rocks revealing a shape that looks like the mark n Calumon's head. Azulongmon says that they had to convice the true enemy that the Digimon weren't a threat, so they turned the Catalyst into a Digimon. Zhuqiaomon says that Azulongmon didn't have the power to do that and Azulongmon says that the Digignomes are the ones who turned the Catalyst into a Digimon. The Digignomes appear and they are carring Mr. Mazuno. Takato asks Mr. Mazuno if he knows the name of the true enemy. The scene changes to Mr. Mazuno in a hospital bed and he says it's name is D-Reaper. Back in the Digital World, Henry asks what it is and Mr. Mazuno says that it was a program that controled the growth of artificial intelligence and that the D-Reaper deleted anything that changed from what it use to be. Mr. Mazuno says that D-Reaper shouldn't be stron enough to defeat advanced Digimon like the sovereign unless it mutated. Rika asks Mr. Mazuno what the bad news is but he suddenly wakes up in the hospital and leaves the Digital World. Ryo says that he is tempted to explore the chasm but he's afraid. Calumon continues to climb the rocky cliff wall and he sees a bunch of red blobs floating up into the air.
