Story
Mag Launcher is the best explorer from his town and has been asked to go to another town and find rare artifacts for them. There is more to the story but saying anything will ruin the whole story. The plot is VERY thin and isn't that good. RPG's really need good stories and this RPG doesn't have one. I give story a 3/10

Control
The control is easy to learn and takes only a few minutes. Menus are easy to scroll through. Moving around the dungeons is easy and doing a characters move is easy to do. I give control a 10/10

Voice Acting, Sound Effects and Music
The voice acting is all in Japanese which is fine but it makes the game feel rushed. The back of the case says they kept it cause they wanted it to be the way it was meant to be, I call it being lazy. The sound effects are average at best. Something's don't even make sound when you hit them. The music is nothing special and it's really sad that they use the same ending song from the first game. I give voice acting, sound effects and music a 4/10

GamePlay
You walk around a couple dungeons looking for items. There are only a couple dungeons and they are on the short side. Battles are boring and you can run from most of them. The enemies seem to have way to high of a level, some in the first dungeon are around level 30 which makes no sense. There are a couple people you can choose to have in your parts but most of them aren't very good. You have an item limit and its way to small with all the stuff you find in dungeons. The last dungeon isn't really fair since you can't use one of the main characters that probably has a really high level so you end up being stuck with someone that is a really low level and can be killed in one hit. I give gameplay a 4/10

Replay Value
The game is really short and there is no reason to play it after beating it. I give replay value a 2/10

Final Score
I give Evolution 2: Far Off Promise a 62/100
