Story

Geese Howard is holding another tournament, the Millenium Fight 2000. But apparently, not everyone is in it for the competition. In the end, you can end up stopping either the crazed billionare (and somewhat immortal) Geese Howard, the insane ship captain M. Bison, or even the evil demon himself, Akuma. Okay, so it's not the best story ever, but it's fighting game, what can you expect? But hey, anytime I can kill Geese again is fine with me. 4/10

Control

Control in this game still amazes me. I never thought that it would be possible to play a game with Capcom characters with only four buttons, let alone mix them with SNK characters. The controls aren't stiff or sticky at all, instead very responsive. Without a doubt, controls deserve a 10/10

Voice Acting, Sound Effects, and Music

The music is great, much better than in Marvel VS Capcom 2, it never seemd to get boring. The sound effects are great too, everything from Hadouken to Power Wave, it's all there. The only problem with sound is the voice acting. It is so horrible in this game, only half the characters sound right, if even that many. Terry sounds like he just inhaled some helium, and don't even get me started on Cammy. Voice acting drops the score of sound down to 5/10.

Gameplay

In my mind, this is one of the best fighting games ever. It plays much like other Capcom fighters, mostly like Street Fighter Alpha. But the way it took what many (myself included) thought they could only dream about, to take the Street Fighters and King of Fighters, and mesh them so well (for the most part) was just sheer joy. The game is not without flaws however. The SNK chracters have seen better days. Many of them only have half their original moves. Of course, some didn't have any to begin with *cough*Raiden*cough*. An priority is just nonexistant in some cases. - 7/10

Replay Value

This can be the games greatest strength or weakness. On one hand, you have to go through the game and collect vs points (a la MvC2) in order to buy EX characters (characters with alternate moves), extra stages, and hidden characters. On the other hand, it becomes so tedios and involved, that just leaving it in training mode to get vs points becomes your only savior. But playing against friends never gets old, and for that, replay gets a 7/10.

My final score for Capcom vs SNK: 87/100

Flawed, but a great game nonetheless.
