You can get a total of 56 characters and 14 backgrounds but you have to buy them with points that you get from playing the game. The music is good fo about 10 minutes then it gets boring. The sound effects are horrible cause they fade on and off the whole time you play. Get this game if you like 2d fighters. I give Marvel VS. Capcom 2 a 8.2
