Story: 7/10
The story's straight forward like most Megaman games. This time, Wily's looking for special gigachips to lock a special Navi to destory the Net and it's up to Lan to stop him again.
Control: 9/10
Control's pretty good. A for using your chips for support and B for regular shooting. Certain chips require you memorize and enter several directional keys to perform a special move, but it doesn't hurt you if you can't do that.
Sound Effects and Music: 8
Sound and music's okay; above average. Nothing too special though. Of course, the battle music might get annoying after awhile.
Gameplay: 10
Gameplay is strong here, though your required to come up with new strategies everytime you move onto a next stage and fight new viruses and bosses. Like the previous games of the series, there's that unique battle system where you can choose up to 5 chips before battle. New to the MMBN series is the custom style, which allows you to let Megaman special in a certain element. Then there's a sub custom style from Custom, Guts, Team, and Shield depending on your playing style. For example, if you use a lot of chips, you should get a Custom style, which allows you to use more then 5 chips each time. And finally, there's the Navi Customizer to upgrade Megaman and give him new abilities. The game's long enough to my taste, but the random battles tend to get annoying at times.
Replay Value: 10
You definitely want to replay this. You can always replay and try playing in different custom styles. There's a lot of rare chips to collect as well so go ahead and replay the game. The game's long with secret bosses so it's like those games that you can beat several times and get bored about.
Final Score: 88/100
