So it isn't THAT great but it is better than the princess story lines and now you're playing as mario's evil brother, so cool. I give story a 9/10 Control The control is simple to learn and takes maybe a minute. Doing the different attacks is very easy. I give control a 10/10 Voice Acting, Sound Effects and Music There isn't any voice acting. The sound effects yet again are the simple ones you find in most Mario games. The music is good in some stages but sucks in others and none of them are catchy like in the first two games. I give voice acting, sound effects and music a 6/10 Gameplay This game plays a lot different than the other mario land games. You ram the guys instead of jumping on them and you get helmets that give you powers. The dragon helmet lets you breath fire, jet helmet makes you move faster and the spike helmet lets you head smash them. I think you can ony ge hit three times the you die but I could be wrong. There are 40 stages and a ton of chests to find. You have to find the key to the chest and then find the chest and some are very well hidden. There is also different endings depending on how much money you have at the end of the game. I give gameplay a 10/10 Replay Value The game takes a while to beat and even longer to find all the items and get the best ending. The game is fun and very easy to pick up and play.
