One year after the plane crash from the first movie, Kim has a premonition that her and her friends are going to be in a huge pile up that will kill them all. She freaks out and ends up saving the lives of a group of people that were ment to die and now death is stalking them all. Kim goes to the only survivor of the first movie and asks her for her help. Now they need to stay alive long enough to beat death. The plot is basicly the same as the first but this movie adds a ton of plot holes into the movie but I really doubt anyone sees this movie for the story.
Jonathan Cherry and Ali Larter are the only actors that might be considered to be well known. Rest of the cast are a bunch of unknowns and it's kinda clear why they are. The acting is decent but it isn't very good.
The script isn't very good as the dialog is lame but this movie does come up with some original death scenes and it has one of the best done forshadowings I've ever seen. The directing is okay, the pile up scene is just amazing but most of the deaths have that shock value like the bus scene in the original movie and it gets a little old.
Final Destination 2 throws everything to the wind and goes for cheap thrills with the suprising death scenes. It might be a bad thing for some people but I honestly went to see this movie just for the death scenes and I was entertained. The story really contradicts it's self which pretty much ruins any chance of this series trying for a plot that fits with the other movies.
