I won't say anymore as the film is very plot heavy and anymore would ruin the film. Keanu Reeves gives a mellow performance that makes Neo seem like a careless person. Laurence Fishburne delivers the same exact type of performance as does most of the cast. I was disappointed overall with the performances. The Wachowski brothers deliver a script that is heavy on the sex and light on the mind numbing plot twists. The sex scene along with the rave is way too long and just makes you feel dirty. A five minute sex scene? Sheesh. The dialog isn't too bad but near the end it goes all technical on you and it's too big of an overload as the begining of the film just focuses on fidning people or things. The special effects are neat and all but you can tell a few of the props are rubber. I also felt the freeway scene was over-hyped by the Wachowski's as they said "It could never be done again". Nothing happens in this scene that couldn't be recreated by someone else. My problem with the original Matrix was that it had limited watchability since it got old after the second viewing. This one seems to be a bit better in that regard but overall the fight scenes are too far and way too long, some are 20 minutes long. It's a decent film but in no way delivers on the hype.
