We are going to study the two olive trees, that is mentioned here, but first let us see
where else in the Word it is mentioned. So that we can get a better understanding of
what the Father is showing us.
The olive tree and two candlesticks are mentioned in Zechariah 4:1. Let us take a look
at what is said about them there. (Remember we have to use the whole Word to get the
complete picture. You can't just use one chapter in one book to see the whole picture.)
      The name Zechariah means "Remembered by God". Zechariah was given eight visions;
                    1) chapter 1:7-17
                    2) chapter 1:18-21
                    3) chapter 2:1-13
                    4) chapter 3:1-10
                    5) chapter 4:1-14
                    6) chapter 5:1-4
                    7) chapter 5:5-11
                    8) chapter 6:1-8

Do a side study on these visions. We are going to look at the 5th vision.

Zech 4:1	And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man
that is wakened out of his sleep, (Zechariah is telling us that the angel that had shown him
the other visions, came back and opened his eyes again to see another vision. Gave him
eyes to see.)

2	And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a
candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and
seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof: (The angel asked
Zechariah what he saw and Zechariah told him what he saw, which is also written in
Revelation 1:13.)

3	And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon
the left side thereof. (Here are the two olive trees)
4	So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these,
my lord? (Then Zechariah asked the angel "what are these two olive trees?")
5	Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not
what these be? (The angel said to him, don't you know ) And I said, No, my lord.
6	Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto
Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of
hosts. (The angel didn't answer the way we might have thought he would answer)

11	Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right
side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?
12	And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which
through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves? (Zechariah had to
ask two more times before he was given an answer to his question.)
13	And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No,
my lord.
14	Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the LORD of the
whole earth.( Now we know who these two olive trees are, and we will get more
information about them back in Revelation).

Revelation 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

The two witness are the Lord's two annointed ones. Here we see that the two witness are described as two olive trees and two candlesticks. That is because they are give knowledge from the lord and the Lord uses them to shine forth on the earth, with his light (truth).

Revelation 11:5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

What John is saying is that, if anyone talks unjustly about these witness, the words that the witness says will burn up the unjust things that are said about them. The Word of God is powerful and that is what they will be speaking. And what ever they unjustly say will come back on them. In His Service
