Revelation 11:6
	These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and
have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as
often as they will.

     The Father has given  them the same power as he gave his
other witnesses in the book of Exodus.  There is nothing new under the sun.  In the book
of Exodus the children of Israel were in bondage to Egypt.  The reason they were in
bondage was because they were so strong and so many, and the rulers feared that they
would take control, so they put alot of burdens on them.  So they didn't have time to think
about taking control, as it is written;
Exodus 1:9	And he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel are
more and mightier than we:
10	Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that,
when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and
so get them up out of the land.
11	Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens.
And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses.

 
     That is exactly what Satan is doing today with christians.  The christians are kept under
all kinds of burdens,  they have to work, work, work to get their bills paid.  The have no
time for God, and what little time they may take for God is used to do other things,
besides worshipping God and doing his work. There is nothing new under the sun. As it is
written it also was done to the Children of Israel in Egypt;
Exod 5:8	And the tale of the bricks, which they did make heretofore, ye shall lay
upon them; ye shall not diminish ought thereof: for they be idle; therefore they cry, saying,
Let us go and sacrifice to our God.
9	Let there more work be laid upon the men, that they may labour therein; and let
them not regard vain words. (To pharaoh God was nothing, so that is why he said their
words were empty.)

     Don't worry the Lord is always watching and seeing what is happening to his people. 
He knows what is going on and at the right time he will do something about it. 

      Now there was a space of time in between When Jacob's twelve children went into
egypt with their families and the bondage of the descendents of these twelve children of
Israel. As it is written Joseph and all his brothers and all their children died and it was the
next generation of children that were put into bondage. 
Exod 1:6	And Joseph died, and all his brethren, and all that generation.
7	And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied,
and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them.

     That is exactly what happened to the church and christians. After Jesus and all his
apostles were gone the church took a turn and forgot about what they were suppose to
do.  They knew about God and they had rituals that they did and followed as they do
today, because they are told to do it by their leaders.  But most christians are in bondage
and don't really trust the Father, as that next generation didn't trust the Father either.

      Let us see what happened to them and let us compare it to what is happening to
christians today.  Remember there is nothing new under the sun, what happened to them
happened as an example to us that are living in the last days.

Exodus 3:7	And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which
are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their
sorrows;
8	And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to
bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk
and honey.... (The Lord tells Moses that he sees what is going on with his people and he
will deliver them and bring them into the promise land.  That is also what Jesus told us,
that when he returns we would go into the kingdom of heaven.)

Exod 4:30	And Aaron spake all the words which the LORD had spoken unto Moses,
and did the signs in the sight of the people.
31	And the people believed: and when they heard that the LORD had visited the
children of Israel, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads
and worshipped. ( The children of Israel saw all the miracles and they believed and
worshipped the Lord.  That is what happens today, christians are having trouble and they
call out to the Lord for help and the Lord does things for them and they remember him
and they start to worship him again.)

Exodus 6:5	And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the
Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant.
6	Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out
from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will
redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments: (Then the Lord tells
Israel what he is going to do as he also tells christians what he is going to do and how he
is going to do.  It is written in the Word of God, everything that will happen and
everything that the the Lord will do.)
    Then pharaoh told them they would have to work twice as hard and they blamed God
for their trouble.  Just like christians today, they say why does God allow this to happen,
evil people are in control and God let's them stay in control.
     The Lord is still teaching his children, but they have stopped listening.

Exodus 6:7	And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye
shall know that I am the LORD your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens
of the Egyptians. (The reason the Lord is doing it this way, is because he wants his people
to know it was him that did it and that he is our Lord God.)
8	And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to
Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the LORD.
9	And Moses spake so unto the children of Israel: but they hearkened not unto
Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage. (As you can see the people turn away
from listening to what the Lord is saying, because they are having trouble with the flesh. 
They do not trust the Lord, just as some christians don't today. You see the Lord told
them I will take you out of bondage, I will  bring you into the promised land, but they
didn't hear it.  They only knew that they were suffering,  just as christians do today.) 

    So the Lord showed both the Gentiles and Israel at that time, just as he will show the
Non-christians and the Christians in the end, as it is written;

Exod 7:3	And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders
in the land of Egypt. (The Lord harden pharaoh's heart, he had no choice.)
4	But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and
bring forth mine armies, and my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by
great judgments. ( The reason the Lord did it was because the Lord wanted his people
taken out of the land of Egypt the hard way, not the easy way.)
5	And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I stretch forth mine hand
upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them.  ( The Lord wanted the
Egyptians to know who God was, it wasn't what they thought. Just like today, the
tribulation or the testing is so that non-christians will know who the Lord is.)


Jer 24:7	And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they
shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole
heart. (The Lord wants us to love him with our whole heart and soul, not just part of the
way.) 

Jer 31:34  And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his
brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto
the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember
their sin no more. ( No one will teach false things any more, and everyone will know the
Lord.) 

Ezek 28:26	And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant
vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all
those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their
God. (The Lord will protect his children and the world will know that you are his child.) 

Ezek 34:30	Thus shall they know that I the LORD their God am with them, and that
they, even the house of Israel, are my people, saith the Lord GOD. (The church is spiritual
israel.) 

Ezek 39:28	Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to
be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and
have left none of them any more there. (The Lord sent his children into captivity, but he
will gather them together when he comes to earth.) 

Exod 8:22	And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell,
that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the LORD in
the midst of the earth. (The Lord controls the plagues, so the people will know that the
Lord is in control.) 

Exod 14:4	And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will
be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am
the LORD. And they did so. 

Exod 14:18  And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten me
honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen. 

Ps 9:16	The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in
the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah. 

Ezek 25:17	And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and
they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them. 

Ezek 28:22	And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon;
and I will be glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I am the LORD, when
I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.   

Ezek 36:23	And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen,
which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the
LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.  

Ezek 39:7	So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I
will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the
LORD, the Holy One in Israel.  

Ezek 39:22   So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that
day and forward.  


If you know the true Lord and that Jesus is the son of God and that he came to earth, and
that he is the true God then you have eternal life.  That is the whole point to know who
the True Lord is.

John 17:3	And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and
Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.  

I Jn 5:20   And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an
understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in
his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
