Revelation 12:6 "that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days."

The amount of time is the same as it is in Daniel 12. The interesting thing is, in Daniel it says, if you wait for another forty five days you will be blessed. Another thing to remember is that this is written in days, so it is talking about the christians. We know the same time frame is used talking about everyone else in the world. But it is in months, months are always used when talking about Satan's work, as you can see in Revelation 11. Let us take a look at the different places this time is talking about and the different time frames used, yet it is saying the same amount of time. It also gives us alot of pieces to know what will happen in that time. This is talking about the time Satan will be on the earth pretending to be Jesus and fooling the world. Will you be fooled? Dan 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.(Jesus told us to eat the bread and wine, until he returned. Satan will pretend to be Jesus, so they will not do that anymore. Satan will set himself as the one to worship.) Luke 22:19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. 1 Cor 11:24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. 26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come. (The reason we eat the bread and drink the wine is remind you that the Lord died for us. We only are to do this until he returns.) Rev 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. (They will make destroy the truth, while they are in control.) 3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. (The two witnesses are preparing the way for the return of the true Jesus.) Rev 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. (Satan will be speaking things that will be an abomination to the Lord, he will pretend to be religious, but he will not be doing anything the Lord wants us to do.) Dan 8:13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? (When Jesus returns he will clean up the Lords house, just like he did when he was on earth.) 14 And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. Jesus does the cleaning, when he gets here. He showed us an example when he was here in the flesh, as it is written. Matt 21:12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, 13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves. The next verse we will look at says "a week and in the midst of the week", but as you can see it is talking about the same thing. Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. (The one thing to remember about this verse is the english is not translated properly. What it really says is "the desolator", it is a person not a thing. This is really saying Satan will be destroyed, by the appearance of Jesus as it is written in 2 Thess.) II Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (Paul is saying do not let anyone deceive you, Jesus is not returning to gather us, until after Satan shows up.) 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.(When Satan comes to earth, he will pretend to be Jesus.) II Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: (But when Jesus really does return, everyone will know who the true Jesus is. He will destroy satan's lies and take Satan out of power.) Dan 11:31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. 32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. (Satan will trick people into believing him, because he will be so nice. But the true christians will know who God is and they will do what God wants them to do.) 33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. (The servants of God will teach the people, but the people will still be fooled by Satan and his lies.) Jesus also spoke of this same time and he tells us of Satan setting himself up as God. He also tells us that Daniel was a prophet. Matt 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Mark 13:14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains: Dan 8:11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down. 12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered. ( This is what they will do, they will destroy the truth and replace it with lies) "Time, times, and the dividing of time" is used here. Dan 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.(as you can see this will be a tuff time for christians) 26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end. (But the Father lets us know in the end his servants will take over as it is written in Revelation 20:4) Dan 12:6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? (One spiritual person talking to another spiritual person, and asking a question.) Dan 12:7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. (This is the what the Lord wants to happen, everything will end when the christians have lost all their power. They have no fight left in them. They are the ones doing the fighting, when the Lord is the one who should be allowed to do the fighting.) As you can see Daniel 12 is talking about the same thing as Revelation 12. There are books in the Word that also mention this time, but these two are the main pictures. I will do a side study and compare the two books. In His Service
