Revelation 13:1
	And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea,
having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the
name of blasphemy.

     John stood upon the sand of the sea, and he saw a system rise
out of the "tossing about people" (sea).  This system will have seven dominions and it will
have ten who rule  and have power over the system of the world. This system will be
saying things that are really against God, but people will think it is what God wants. 

     The next verse is going to give a picture of this system in flesh terms, so that we can
see a picture.  The Father is great to us.

Revelation 13:2
	And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard,

       Now we all know that a leopard is spotted.  This world system will be spotted and
with blimishes.  We are not to be spotted, with the ways of the world. We are to be pure
and in the Word of God. The Father tells us this in Peter as it is written.

      2 Pet 3:13	Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a
new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. (This is what we are to be looking forward
to,a new heaven and a new earth, where there is only righteousness.)

14	Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be
found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.( Not only do we have to look forward
to the kingdom of God, we have to make sure that when Jesus returns, he finds us resting
in him, keeping his Word true and not adding mens twist to it.  Also blameless, that Jesus
can not say you have not done his work, while he was away.)

      2 Pet 3:17	Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye
also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. (This
tells be careful and do not let the world lead you in their wicked way and fall from the firm
rock, which is the Word of God.)

        18	But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus
Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.  (But this is what we are to do
grow in the unmerited favor with the knowledge of Jesus Christ, which is the Word of
God. Peter tells us to stay in the Word, and doing what the Lord instructed us to do in his
Word, when he returns.)

      So this world system will be spotted, with lies and false teachings.
 
"and his feet were as the feet of a bear," 

    This system will also stand strong and ferocious. Nothing will
be able to move it on earth. 
      
"and his mouth as the mouth of a lion:"

    This system will also speak as a lion does, that means when
you hear a lion roar, everyone stops and listens. Everyone will stop and listen to this
system.
 
"and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great
authority."

      Satan gave this system it's power, and the judgement, and it's
delegated influence: 

     So as we can see this system will be in control of the world and doing what Satan
wants it to do.

     The Father gives us another look at this system, with more information, so we can see
a better picture. It is written in the book of Daniel.  I have already mentioned the book of
Daniel and the book of Revelation are talking about the same time. The difference
between the two is that the book of Daniel was given to The children of God before Jesus
was sacrificed for them. The book was still sealed at the time it was written.
 
     Dan 12:8	And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be
the end of these things? (Daniel heard what he was told by the angel, but he could not
understand it. The lamb had not been slain yet, and if he could then Jesus would not have
had to been slain. But there is only one way to see the light and that is through Jesus, the
lamb of God.)

9	And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the
time of the end.  (The angel told Daniel, don't worry about it, it will be understood in the
end, when it needs to be understood.)

     The book of Revelation was given to the children of God after Jesus died and rose
from the dead. It was the time of the end, so the children had to be able to understand it.

Rev 5:1 	And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written
within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. (The Father had the sealed book in his
hand and it was chock full of information for his children, it was also sealed, so no one
could understand it until the end.)

Rev 5:5 	And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the
tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven
seals thereof. (One of the elders told John not to worry, because there was someone who
would open the book.)

     The Lamb of God revealed everything to the servants of the Lord.

Rev 1:1 	The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his
servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel
unto his servant John:
2	Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of
all things that he saw.
3	Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep
those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. (You will be blessed if you
take the time to read the book of Revelation and understand the things that you are told
will happen, and do the things it tells you to do at that time. Because as you can see the
time is at hand now, whereas in Daniel it was not yet.)

         Now after reading the book of Revelation's account of the beast from the sea, look
at the book of Daniel's account of the same beast.  It is just explained in a different way.
You see a much better picture of what is going to happen.

Dan 7:2 	Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night,
and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.( The four winds
brought this to pass, but in the book of Revelation it tells us not until the servants were
sealed with the truth.   Rev 7:1	And after these things I saw four angels standing on
the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not
blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.)

 Daniel 7:3	And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.
4	The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were
plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a
man's heart was given to it.
5	And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one
side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto
it, Arise, devour much flesh.
6	After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it
four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.
7	After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and
terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in
pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts
that were before it; and it had ten horns.
8	I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn,
before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in
this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

    As you can see it is the same thing, just with more detail.  I want you to study it and see
what you understand from the two books.  I will be going into more detail of the book of
Daniel later.
